The primary objective of the South Asian Federation of Australia (SAFA) is to bring together the South Asian migrant community residing in Australia. SAFA plays an active role in collaborating with local and federal Governments as well as government organizations.

Our mission is to promote informed decision-making centered around the community's needs, while also facilitating the availability of essential community services and support.

SAFA - Areas of Focus

At SAFA we have identified several key areas which need attention both by the community and higher authorities. We will work tirelessly to assist in resolving these challenges.

Assimilation & Assistance

Bringing together the migrant community from South Asia and address their issues, offer support and aid.

Women's Empowerment

Support for domestic violence victims, and promotion of children's welfare and mental health are key areas of focus.

Mental Health

Mental health awareness is of utmost importance and must not be overlooked. The entire society needs education on the subject
